I did a sneak preview of Amy & Jay's wedding a few months ago, but really wanted to do a full blog post from the day. I can't tell you how much fun this wedding was and how different from any other wedding I've ever photographed. First, most of the guests didn't know it was a wedding at all! They all met at a local restaurant (Mo'Cara) where friends and family thought they were celebrating Amy's birthday. Then in walks the groom (who was supposed to be out of town) and the couple announces that the group will be heading back to their house for the couple's wedding! And what a sweet, intimate wedding it was. The ceremony was officiated by Amy's dad, with ring bearer Andy the pup hanging out in the isle getting petted by everyone he walked by. It was such a meaningful ceremony and there wasn't a dry eye in the house. Plus, the bride wore a fabulous black dress (as well as all the bridesmaids) and teal heals - how great is that!
I loved meeting and working with this great group of people - they made me feel SO welcomed!
