Audrey & Mike (Nashville Couples Photography)

May 20, 2011

You might recognize Audrey from her comp session a few months ago, she came back with her awesome boyfriend Mike for a couples session.  It was a fun mix of a couples shoot with a few individual shots thrown in here and there.  Before the session I asked them if they had any ideas for shots they wanted and they told me I should just “do my thing”.  Now, what photographer doesn’t love hearing that!

I had such a great time working with you, can’t wait to do it again!

Thanks for looking,

Mandy

Sonya's Senior Portraits (Nashville Senior Photography)

April 29, 2011

Sonia and her sweet family came in to get some senior photos, and a few family portraits as well, before Sonia goes to college in the fall.  They were so fun to work with and so easy going!

Sonia is a very smart girl and is going to do well where ever she ends up attending college.  I think her little brother and parents are going to miss her lots when she leaves.  You should have seen how sweet her and her brother are together - too cute!

Enjoy the preview,

Mandy

Alex is 10 months

November 8, 2010

If this child gets any cuter I’m not sure what we’ll do….seriously, he is sort of a pro here as this is his fourth session during his first year, and I can’t wait for the one year photos – bring on a cake to smash up!

Alex did great once again during his session and brought along a couple of Halloween outfits including a cowboy costume and a skeleton. He wasn’t a huge fan of the hat but kept it on long enought to get a few shots of him in it.

Enjoy the preview!

Anisha's comp session

October 6, 2010

Anisha was absolutely sweet and fun to work with.  She was also up for whatever I asked her to try, including jumping on a trampoline during her shoot!  She also really knew how to pose and give different looks, all at 14!

Thanks for coming in Anisha, enjoy the preview.

Little Aiden is four months old! (nashville children's photography)

September 16, 2010

Time really does fly and photographing babies through their first year is often what reminds me of that fact the most.  Aiden is adorable and was such a happy baby during the session, I can’t wait to see him in a few months to see just how much he’s changed again.   What an adorable family!

Thanks Christie & Kenny, enjoy the preview!

Karyn & George (Nashville Wedding Photography)

August 30, 2010

Karyn and George are seriously the sweetest couple…..and it is very easy to see that they are going to have a wonderful life together!  I’ve actually known them for several years, so it made the day even more special for me, getting to document this wonderful day for them.  If you haven’t seen Karyn’s bridal portraits yet, that blog post can be found here.  She looked even more gorgeous on their wedding day.

The happy couple was married at the Cannery Ballroom & had their reception in the same location.  Family & friends were very much involved in the planning and coordinating of events and everything went beautifully.  Their florist & friend, Teddy Cox, did a wonderful job with the flowers.   Karyn’s sister, Christi, did a wonderful job with their wedding programs and her brother-in-law Chris designed the invitations!

One of my favorite things about the day was the gift George gave to Karyn before the ceremony, it was absolutely perfect.  I was told he found the sign which read “I Love You Every Day” at Ten Thousand Faces in Hillsboro Village.  Another unique twist was the lack of wedding cake!  Yep, no cake on this day, instead the bride & groom opted for cake plates full of giant, yummy brownies!  And yes, they were just as good as any cake I’ve had (or better).  In fact, yours truly was forced by the bride to take some home that day – she really had to twist my arm. :)

For the bridesmaids, they received hand-made jewelry by the wonderful designer Tressa Procter-King of Flambeaux Design Company in New Orleans.  Stunning work that gave the girls something special to wear!  They had great food too, provided by Flavor Catering in Franklin.  Karyn’s beautiful dress comes from The White Room (which has been a very popular choice for my brides this year!)

Enjoy!

Matt's headshots! Nashville, TN

June 21, 2010

Matt was such fun to work with!  He’s full of energy and so excited about all the opportunities coming his way.  Matt recently wrote a pilot and his show is being looked at now to get picked up and produced – how exciting is that!  He’s currently in Nashville for the summer taking acting classes which he loves and is originally from KY.  He’s enjoying his summer here in our big city!

Great working with you Matt, enjoy the preview!
