The Nashville Sounds, Tito's Handmade Vodka and Agape Animal Rescue {Nashville Dog Photographer}

Who is ready for some baseball, vodka and cute dog photos?! The Nashville Sounds season starts TODAY, and so I wanted to share some fun dog photos I did at the Sounds field, and with some of the Sounds players! The pics you see below are from two photo shoots I got to do back in 2019. It was soooo fun being on the field with all the dogs and the players!

So how does the Sounds, Tito’s Vodka and Agape Animal Rescue come together in one place? Well, Tito’s is a big supporter of Agape Animal Rescue. DogJo, Tito’s companion, inspired “Vodka for Dog People Program” which inspired their support for animal rescues. Tito’s sponsor's Tail Waggin’ Tuesday’s with the Sounds, where you can bring your pup to the game! Tickets are $30 ($25 for human, $5 for pup) with all the dog ticket proceeds going to local animal nonprofit organizations, including Agape. There was a halt on Tito’s Tail Waggin’ Tuesdays for a bit, but it is back and starts TONIGHT. You can find dates for all those Tuesday games at Sounds Tuesdays. Agape’s donation nights are tonight and May 17 if you’d like to attend a game supporting them!

Now about the dog photos below…The two bulldogs were from a shoot I did with Tito’s and the Sounds. They were part of a dog calendar Tito’s made! At the time, Dooley (fawn) was nine years old. He has lived in Nashville since he turned one. Because he grew up around lots of people, he is a very social dog! He likes to get scratches on his booty and cares more about hanging out with humans than other dogs. Muggsy (brindle) was four years old at the time, and was born in Nashville. She has never met a ball she doesn’t like and will chase them all over the place. Both dogs love snuggles, snacks and making new friends!

The pictures with the other dogs were from a specific collaboration between Tito’s, Agape, and the Sounds with adoptable pups from Agape. I really did love the chance to take such fun photos of the pups and players!

Enjoy the pics below and good luck to the Nashville Sounds this season!

The Reynolds Family {Nashville Dog Photographer}

This week on the blog: The Reynolds Family, including Angie and Steve with their twins, Reagan and Riley. Though I have been photographing them for quite some time, this is their first session with a pup! These photos were taken last year when the girls were eight and Chelsey, their cavapoo, was still a puppy.

We took photos of the family at their home and all around the murals of 12 South in Nashville. You can see two of the murals below, including “I Believe in Nashville” and the “Flowers Mural”. Take a look at all the other murals on 12th South by clicking The Nashville Guru.

If you are still thinking about getting family photos this fall, I do have availability on a few mid-week dates - email me for more info on those. Also, please check out The Fall 2021 Mini Session Calendar to book the few remaining weekend dates: https://book.usesession.com/i/-nPwGR6wF

The Hartmann Family {Nashville Dog Photographer}

Whew, time has flown by since my last post, hasn’t it? My posts have been few and far between for the 17 months because I have been busy tending to the newest member of my pack, Liam! It seems the human babies need a bit more care than the furry types, and I am loving every minute of it!

But it is time for me to get back to it…as you all are well aware, we are are in the midst of a pandemic. Because social media has inundated us with lots of COVID-19 information, I knew I needed to provide something joyful and fun…sure to make you smile and just maybe say out loud, “awwwww”. There is nothing like our adorable pets that can help us smile even just for a moment. I know it helps me, so I am hopeful it will help you too!

Without further ado…I was so fortunate to photograph these cute, cute, cute corgis and their people back in December. Meet Norman, a male Corgi, age 14 and Gracie, a female Corgi, age 7. Their people are Shelby and Thomas. When I asked Shelby and Thomas about their names, they told me that Norman is named after a German cyclist. Gracie was named because she was a clumsy pup! (She has since grown out of her clumsiness)

Norman and Gracie LOVE FOOD. All. Of. It! They also like playing fetch. I was told Gracie HATES having her picture taken, so when she kept wondering off and then running back towards me, I took the opportunities to get some great action shots! Norman is generally just a happy guy, but he doesn’t really like the water or to have his ears or feet touched.

Norman and Gracie love and really protect each other. Corgis have a natural herding instinct, so if their people are in different parts of the house, they will find a spot in the middle of wherever their people are!

Enjoy some of my faves from the Hartmann family session!
