I had a wonderful time photographing the Notestine Family and their five rescued pugs. I met Wesley and her tan baby, Dixie, while photographing the Nashville Lifestyle's Cover Dog Day at Cheekwood. I was so excited when she contacted me to come meet all the pugs! This is the biggest group of pups I've photographed at one time, and it was such a fun experience. This family works with the Pug Plantation and Mid South Pug Rescue, so they are certainly a family after my own heart!

Lenny was rescued off the street in Murfreesboro and they adopted him from the city shelter.
Sweet Gracie was rescued from an abusive home.
Wesley found this cutie, Dixie, in a parking lot.
Eli was adopted from a puppy mill rescue operation in Knoxville.
Harper here was a Craigslist rescue.
