The Experience - For a one hour portrait session

  1. Phone consultation: After you book your session, we’ll have a 30-minute phone call where we will discuss more about what you are looking for in terms of products and how they will fit into your home: wall galleries, prints, canvases, albums or anything else you need!

  2. The session: 1 hour at the location of your choice. I have many great options all around the Franklin and Nashville areas, or if your pet is more of a homebody we can do them at your home. We can also discuss renting a studio location if that suits your needs better.

  3. Ordering: My turnaround time for editing your images is two weeks. At that point I will put your images in an online gallery for you to preview and narrow down favorites. We can do orders via FaceTime or Zoom. Your order will be ready 2-4 weeks after it is placed, depending on what type of products you are receiving.

Additional Information

Late afternoon is my favorite time for photo sessions!

Please make sure your pups are exercised a few hours before your session. We want them to be as calm as possible from the exercise, but not too hot from the exercise that we have very long tongues hanging out.

Wear something that you can move around comfortably in! Remember you will be with your pet, so you’ll want to be able to sit, kneel, crouch, and stand comfortably in whatever you are wearing. If you need ideas on family color combinations I’m happy to provide them!

Please make sure you have the leash and collar combo on your pets that you'd like to see in photographs, and remove any extras you’d rather not have in the images. Non-retractable leashes work best & look better in the images. It is better to remove harnesses before we start sessions, I will not be able to edit out harnesses from images without an additional retouch fee.

If your pet has specific treats they love feel free to bring them & I can use them during the session. I will also have treats on hand. Often my squeaky toy is all we need!

Let me know what questions you have for me about your specific pets!
