The Allmand Family | Celebration of Life {Nashville Pet Photographer}

This post is a little bittersweet because shortly after this session, Bella (the sweet gal with the longest eyelashes ever) passed away. She had a wonderful life with her parents and sister, Millie.

Mille's parents got engaged on a trip to Italy and they knew they wanted to adopt a pup together! During their time in Italy, they got the idea to name their dog Bella. The following year they adopted Bella, a beautiful cocker spaniel. Three years after they adopted Bella, her parents decided that she needed a sister! They named her sister Mille, after an Italian car race called the Mille Miglia (to keep to the Italian names). 

Her mom writes: "she LOVED to ride in the car! Her favorite place was in my lap. She had the sweetest spirit and only wanted to make us happy. I truly believe she was an angel on earth for a short time. She is missed so much by all of us (including Mille)."

The Allmand family decided to adopt a third puppy after they received Bella's terminal diagnosis. Their new girl is named Harper, and Harper and Mille are building a sweet friendship. Their parents hope that they will be lifelong companions for each other!

Rudy {Nashville Dog Photographer}

We had a really fun studio pet session with this distinguished pup. This is Rudy, an 8.5 year old lab and weimaraner mix. He was such a good sport letting us put him in and on various props in the studio! It's a good thing Rudy loves treats because he worked hard modeling to get all the treats he could during his session. Enjoy a few of my favorites!

Cover Dog from Nashville Lifestyles {Nashville Pet Photographer}

I am excited to introduce you to the Nashville Lifestyles Cover Dog, Amos! Amos and his mom, Lauren, won the Nashville Lifestyles cover contest. I had such a fun time photographing their cover session at Cheekwood!

"Amos is sweet and energetic. A mere 20 months old, he's not the pint-sized lap dog he believes himself to be. With a home base in downtown Franklin, Amos enjoys making friends all over Nashville. From his own backyard to exploring downtown, he regularly turns on the charm in order to win treats. He greets his neighbors by propping up on the fence and convincing passersby to play fetch with him." - from Nashville Lifestyles

Lauren adopted Amos from Night Magic Danes in Georgia. Here's what she had to say about her pup in their magazine interview:

"He loves walks, so we walk downtown a lot and he always is like a superstar. He gets lots of attention. Everyone wants to ask me how much he weighs, whats his name, how much does he eat, and what breed he is because he's so big!"
