Mollie & Ben {Nashville Wedding Photographer}

Mollie and Ben met in law school and the rest was history! Their Cannery Row wedding was such a sweet and happy celebration. The day started out with getting ready, which their dog Pepper had to be a part of! Pepper has been involved in their love story from the beginning--Mollie and Ben adopted her from Tennessee death row dogs and you might remember her from Mollie and Ben's engagement session at Ellington Agricultural Center. Pepper went back and forth between the getting ready rooms, which was just adorable.

This wedding was filled with sweet details. Ben wore his grandfather's boots, which are over 60 years old, for the ceremony. Mollie's processional was to Don't Stop Believing by Journey and the couple literally skipped down the isle for the recessional Rocky Top! Their reception was filled with even more personal touches--Ben's cousin sang their first dance--as well as a rocking dance party. The dueling pianos by Rock and Roll Pianos made for such lively reception. Following their wedding, these two honeymooned in Jamaica.

Jaime & Jed's Wedding at Allerton Hotel {Chicago Wedding Photographer}

I’m so excited to share Jaime and Jed’s full wedding day blog post from their fabulous Chicago wedding this June. I first met Jaime and Jed when they flew me out to Chicago to photograph their Engagement session that included their two dogs, Wall-E and Eva (how cute are those names!) and I loved the Mad Men theme they incorporated into their outfits and locations.

I knew their Chicago wedding was going to be amazing (even though the puppies weren't able to be there) and it absolutely was.

Jaime and Jed were married at the gorgeous St. Michael Church in Old Town and had a super fun reception at the Allerton Hotel. Their wedding was a beautiful testament to Jaime and Jed's relationship, as well as to all their friends and family who love them so much. And the reception was SO much fun! Complete with a surprise dress change by our gorgeous bride and quite possible the best wedding band EVER. And a surprise performance by one of the bridal party members who just happens to be playing Jerry Lee Lewis in the Million Dollar Quartet - you know, no big deal ;).

Congratulations on your wedding, Jaime and Jed! It was an absolute pleasure to be a part of your day and I loved meeting all your friends & family!

Christian & Dave's Winter Wedding {Nashville Wedding Photographer}

Hello and happy 2015! I hope your holidays were wonderful and you got to spend lots of time with the people you love. The blog has been pretty quiet since the rush of the holiday season, and I thought there could be no better way to start off the new year than to share Christian & Dave's beautiful (and really fun) wedding from November at the First Presbyterian Church of Nashville. We had a beautiful sunny (although chilly) winter day and the gals braved the cold temps so we could get some gorgeous outdoor light!

These two make my job so easy! They had a very sweet first look outside of the church and made each other (and me) laugh throughout their photos - as did their entire wedding party.  I loved working with them and their friends & families, they made me feel like part of the family!

Also, this is certainly one of the most fun receptions I've seen, complete with dancing, ping pong, bean bag toss, and pink flamingos!
