The Brothers Family! {Nashville Pet Photographer}

It was so nice to see The Brothers Family last weekend - I can't believe it's been almost a year since little John Patrick's 1 year session! (Did I mentioned how fast time always seems to fly by?) We had some beautiful weather and fall color! They also brought along their sweet pups - Arlo & Lucy and it was great to see them too :) Enjoy the preview!

The Blankenship Family! {Nashville Pet Photographer}

I really love it when families include their pets in photo sessions (which of course you know). So, I was really excited to get to photograph the Blankenship family with their sweet pups, Maggie and Chloe.  The Blankenships were so much fun to work with and a family who truly loves each other & their furry kids! I can't wait to show you everything we got from your session- but for now a sneak peek of a few of my many favorites!

Thanks for looking,

~ Mandy

Giving Back - Old Friends Senior Dog Sanctuary

Today's blog is about spreading the word for a wonderful organization I recently became involved with.  Old Friends Senior Dog Sanctuary is pretty special for a lot of different reasons. They focus their efforts on senior dogs, who face a much greater chance of euthanasia at shelters than younger dogs because it is difficult to find adopters for them due to their shorter additional life expectancy and unknown vet costs.

They find these wonderful older pups forever foster or adoptive homes where they can live out their retirement years as a loved family member, and in the meantime the pups are able to stay at the sanctuary! Truly a much needed organization! I learned about them when they contacted me to help at their yearly fundraiser, Dog Art for Old Friends. Such a fun event at the Omni Hotel, filled with all kinds of great dog focused art! I think I had the best job there though, I ran a photo booth with a very popular dog sanctuary pup - Leo. For a donation, guests could get their photo made with this super cute fellow!

Please take a moment to check out this wonderful organization and consider helping out in any way you can. And thank you to all our photo booth friends!

Here are a few of my favorites from the night,
