I love getting to photograph Nashville families with a heart for animal rescue! The Hipler family (I love this combination of both last names Tipler & Hood) is definitely one of those families-they have 5 rescue dogs! And Kelly is actually on the board of the Pet Community Center, which is an organization featured on my Adopt page.
Up first we have Levi, a 15 year old flat coat retriever. The family rescued him after he was left alone in a neighbor's yard. Then we have Zinnia, a 14 year old border collie mix who was rescued off Bell Road. Two of their pups, Mille, the shepherd mix, and Roxy, a true Heinz 57, were both rescued in Easy Nashville. Last, but certainly not least, we have sweet little Turnip, who was rescued after she was left outside in the freezing cold after her owners moved away. Turnip is the snuggler of the group, and likes to hug you when you hold her! And you can be sure I got some snuggles before I left :)
All the pups looked very fancy in their brand new Earth Dog collars, that they got for the occasion.
We started the session out with all the pups in the Tipler family's home, and then all the humans took a little walk to Edgehill Village for a few more images. Ashlynn & Dylan love their pups and are super cute kiddos - they really like to have fun, and even laughed and that one joke I know!
I hope you enjoy some of my favorites from this Nashville pet's and their people session!
