Mewsic Kitty Cafe Open House {Nashville Cat Photographer}

If you loved the Mewsic Kitty Cafe Pop Up from last year, then you'll be excited to hear that they are officially open for business! I had an amazing time taking photos of their pop up cat cafe last summer, and I am SO excited they are now here year-round! 

Mewsic Kitty Cafe is Tennessee's very first cat cafe! They provide "a vibrant, comfy, cage-free place for adoptable headliners (that's the cats!) to meet their furever families." So, not only do you have the chance to hang out with some of the cutest cats in Nashville, but you can adopt them from Nashville Cat Rescue while you're there! They've already had a dozen successful adoptions, the last of which was Keith Furban. :)

Shenanigoats Yoga at The Old School Farm {Nashville Pet Photographer}

I can't believe it's been almost a year since I first photographed a goat yoga class for Shenanigoats Yoga! They've had a lot of interest in their first year and are growing like crazy, so happy birthday, Shananigoats!

This time, I photographed one of their classes at a great wedding venue only ten minutes from Nashville called The Old School Farm. Not only do they have an amazing farm-to-table restaurant that serves seasonal items they grow themselves, they also just built a barn event space that is perfect for weddings -especially since great food is already available on-site! They support local farmers while encouraging sustainable and bio-dynamic agriculture, and do a lot to give back to others in the area. 

 If you didn't already know, goats can be extremely fun in a yoga class. They'll bounce, jump, climb onto your back and of course provide tons of laughs along the way. Just keep in mind that it's 80% goats and 20% yoga when you arrive! Take a look at the photos from last year's goat yoga class, or visit the Shenanigoats website to sign up for an upcoming class! Maranda, Adam & Reba {Nashville Pet Photographer}

Today you'll get a chance to see some familiar faces: Maranda, Adam & Reba! We met up at Ellington Agricultural Center for a springtime pets and their people mini session. 

It's always so fun to work with them! If you haven't seen my previous posts from their sessions, head on over to our 2016 session at Harlinsdale Farm and Downtown Franklin.

Reba is also an adorable 9-year old red-head named after the famous Reba McEntire, which I just love! Most everyone has guessed she's a pit/daschund mix, which is a pretty interesting pairing ;)

Maranda says she is "literally the best dog" - easygoing, doesn't bark 99.9% of the time, and gets along with all people and other dogs. I've also witnessed first-hand her kangaroo skills; she can jump so high! Reba is also full of snuggles, loves to sleep in and is the best embodiment of unconditional love, ever.

Reba is a rescue from a no-kill shelter in Western TN, through a Petsmart adoption day in Nashville several years ago. She's super lucky to have such a wonderful forever home!
