On the blog this week is Harley & Courtney! Harley is 3 month old fox red Labrador retriever and is super adorable and very sweet!

Courtney says she was very undecided about his name at first and had several that she liked. Ultimately her mom started saying the name Harley and it eventually just stuck. Now she thinks it really suits him! He has a tough side but is also a very sweet and playful pup.

Currently, Harley's favorite thing to do is chew. He chews everything from shoes and furniture to walls and cabinets. His least favorite thing is leaving the dog park after playing with other dogs.

Courtney’s favorite thing about Harley is how excited he gets to see her in the mornings and when I come home from work. She says, “He's a funny little pup and he brightens my day everyday.” Her favorite thing about the breed is the energy, how loving they are, and how much they love water. Specifically with Harley, she fell in love with the color of his coat. “I like how unique it is!”

Harry Wilson {Nashville Dog Photographer}

Harry is a 13 year old mix of who knows just what exactly…..(mini schnauzer, terrier, Chinese crested…and the list could go on).

This handsome guy got his name from a book from the 50’s called Harry the Dirty Dog. It is about a mischievous little fella who gets into lots of trouble. A very fitting name for this pup.

He loves his hedgehog toy, sleeping in the bed with his people, and bird poop. He is not a fan of barbershop quartet singing, tuna, the mobile groomer, or his dad’s rancor star wars toy.

His mom, Kate, says that she loves the little twinkle in his eye most of all.

Harry was adopted from the Wilson County Animal Shelter. He actually crawled right into Kate’s purse as a tiny puppy... so of course she had to take him home.

When I asked Kate what she loved about all his mixed breeds she said: ‘Everything! I love ALL of them. Ha! I love his crazy hair (Chinese crested) to his sharp intelligence (terrier). He communicates. He has a sense of humor and he actually tries to tempt me with his toys. Right as I am about to grab his hedgehog he rips it away and runs down the hall. He definitely has a little devilish side (mini-schnauzer).’

I am so excited to share these photos from the Thompson's pet and family mini session at Smith park this week!

If this family looks familiar to you, it’s because we did an in studio pets and their people session last year and I was so happy to get to do updated images for them this year!

Brittany and Isaac have two adorable boys: Chase, 4 and Nate, who just turned 2, and a furry family member named Rudy! Rudy is a maltese with a little mix of Havanese.

The Thompsons named Rudy after Isaac's favorite movie Rudy, which is about Notre Dame (Isaac's favorite team). He's definitely a people-lover and enjoys playing catch with squeaky toys. He even waves when you come home and is definitely a cuddle-bug!

And although Brittany has animal allergies, malteses are hypoallergenic -- so she gets to love on Rudy without sneezing!
