Our new foster pup - Louie! {Nashville Dog Photographer}

If you follow me on any type of social media you have, of course, already seen the super cute foster puppy we have - Louie! Louie has been with us now for just 5 days, and he's doing great! So, a little about Louie. He's about 8 weeks old now, and still a tiny thing - much smaller than our two cats (which they like :) He is a shepard mix, and although it's always tough to say how big a little puppy will one day be - it doesn't look as though he's going to be huge. We are thinking more in the medium size range.

He is just wonderful. Curious, playful, sweet - LOVES to nap on your lap! He's is only getting up once during the night to go outside (which is great for his age) and he is really getting the concept of potty training and has been doing really well with it. So, in a nutshell, he's pretty wonderful.

He could be yours! Just contact me or East C.A.N. directly if you are interested in meeting this sweetie!

Earline - our new foster puppy! {Nashville Dog Photographer}

What better way to ring in the new year than introducing our newest foster pup with East C.A.N., Earline! She is the absolute sweetest little gal! So, a few facts about her:

-She's about 16 weeks old.

-She was found with her brother (Earl) in Shelby park, and the pair followed their finder home.

-She is a Plott Hound mix, brindle with a darker stripe across her backbone - very pretty :)

Now, those are the facts, but this is the info that makes her really special:

Earline is a sweet, sweet girl. She loves nothing more to be upside down on the floor at your feet to get a belly rub or just laying in the room you are in watching what you are doing. She is getting along great with our dog Rosie, and is completely ignoring our two cats - which is amazing because most of the puppies we've had have had at least one lesson from the cats on personal space :). Not Earline, she just leaves them completely alone and they aren't stressed around her at all.  Earline attended her first New Year's get together last night and also ignored our friends 7 month old baby. Of course we watched closely, and the little one was in her activity center (so not on the floor), but she had no interest in her at all.

Earline is also doing great with potty-training and crate training.  She loves to play fetch & is already learning to sit - a smart girl for sure!

So, if this glowing report didn't sell you, just take a look at this sweetie.  Please contact me or East C.A.N.  if you are interested in meeting her or her brother Earl (who looks just like her, except he's a bit taller and thinner).

Our New Foster Puppy Meigs! {Nashville Pet Photographer}

I love puppies. You all know this. Sweet Meigs has certainly not changed my mind. In fact, I keep calling her a "little love" because that is just exactly what she is. This little girl was found behind Meigs school in East Nashville along with her brother Ramsey (who is also up for adoption). Their finder, Martine, put in a lot of TLC with this pair and it really shows! It's amazing how in just a few weeks a puppy can go from being almost ferrel to acting like any other pup that's been around people all their lives. We've had her now for about a week and a half.

Meigs is about 5 months old and is 30 pounds. We believe she is some kind of shepard/hound mix and we don't think she'll be a big dog. She is potty trained, crate trained, cat trained (doing great with the cats) and gets along well with our Rosie.  Her favorite activities include playing, chewing bones, napping and leaning on you while you are petting her :)

Seriously, you know you want her.
