Meet Meatloaf - our new East C.A.N. foster puppy! {Nashville Dog Photographer}

I thought it couldn't be more fitting for the first blog post of the new year to be our newest foster puppy Meatloaf! Meatloaf is 8 weeks old, is weighing in at 8 pounds and has had her first round of shots. She is doing great in our zoo of a house with our three other dogs and two cats.

She loves to play and then sleep cuddled up at your feet - repeat often :) She's only been an inside dog since Sunday night and is really doing great with her crate and potty training! She is a little fluffy snuggler for sure, and is happy and curious as well!

Meatloaf has two sisters also in need of homes (Carrot & Potato), if you are interested in meeting Meatloaf or any of her siblings please contact me or East C.A.N. for more info! All East C.A.N. dogs are up for adoption on a first come, first served basis according to who has filled out the application first, so don't delay if you are interested - these sweet girls won't be in foster for long!

Thanks for looking and Happy New Year!

~ Mandy

New Fosters - Nainoa & Charlie! {Nashville Pet Photographer}

Well, it's time for a personal blog post this morning with an official introduction of our new fosters - a dog AND a cat. Nainoa comes to us from East C.A.N. and he is seriously the BEST behaved foster dog we have ever had. I can't say enough good things about this dog. He is a super cute spaniel mix with tuffs of fur between his toes. He's 2 or 3 years old and about 40 pounds- a perfect mid sized dog.

We've had Nainoa for about two weeks now and we've never had to correct him about anything. He's potty trained, crate trained, leaves the cats alone and plays perfectly with Don Draper. He's always happy to see us and loves to lay on your feet at night. When our two are barking at the mailman or UPS truck he doesn't make a peep. Crazy good dog folks.  He's also good around kids! We think anyone would be lucky to get this guy.

And now for the fun part, photos!

Now, we can't leave out our other, less expected foster - Charlie! Charlie had been hanging around outside for about a week - mainly at my neighbors place (where is got his name from their 4 year old :) and then three days went by and no one saw him. He was sweet and loving, just wanted to be held or jump in your open car door.

After those three days I found him again by the side of the road and we decided to bring him in and try to find him a good home. Charlie is SUCH a handsome guy, definitely still a kitten in alot of ways, but looks pretty grown up. We are getting him fixed and vetted this week. He is such a little love, and he needs to have a home of his own.

East C.A.N. Adoptable Pups {Nashville Dog Photographer}

I really love working with East C.A.N., and in my opinion, they have some of the best pups around! This past week I was able to photograph four more of these cuties who are up for adoption (or will be soon!) If you are interested in meeting any of these dogs please contact East C.A.N. You may not see them on the adoptables page yet, but part of that is getting these photos up - Penny is there under her full name Penelope and Kate is there as well :)

First up, Penny! Penny actually stayed with us for a week while her foster was out of town and I have to say we fell for her just a little bit ;) She's about 40 pounds and loves to love. Those while marks on her face are just white/grey hairs & they just add to her already awesome character.

Next up - Kate!! Kate came into East C.A.N. with a litter of sweet puppies and while they've all been adopted long ago, Kate's still waiting on her forever home - and none of us can figure out why. She's a sweet, athletic bird/hound mix and she wants to come home with you!

Now, let's talk about these two pups - Buckethead and Roscoe. They were living on the porch of an empty house until kind neighbors decided to try to tame them and get them off the streets. Buckethead is moving along well in all of this and may just be the most  photogenic dog ever. Roscoe is taking longer to warm up, but is such a cute pup, I know they will both be great!
